Jonas Denney

Jonas Denney is starting his third year as teacher at New Roads and is delighted to collaborate with students again on The Jaguardian. Outside of Journalism, Jonas teaches Environmental Justice and U.S. History and he advises the Composting club, Friendship is Magic Club, and Trans & Non-binary Student Union. He sees journalism as an instrumental part of a healthy democracy and a tool for progress. He is excited to see what stories come out of The Jaguardian this year and looks forward to learning something new from his students.
