Jonas Denney

Jonas Denney is starting his second year as teacher at New Roads and is delighted to collaborate with students again on The Jaguardian. Outside of Journalism, Jonas teaches Environmental Justice and U.S. History and he advises the Clash club, Environmental Club, and Drag Club. He sees journalism as an instrumental part of a healthy democracy and a tool for progress. He is excited to see what stories come out of The Jaguradian this year and looks forward to learning something new from his students.
